A Catholic fraternal organization
working to strengthen family life, foster Christian unity through acts
of charity and devotional practices, offer aid to the handicapped and the
less fortunate, and building fraternity through athletic, social, and cultural
events. Pope John XXIII Council No. 6250 meets on the first Thursday of
each month.
The Nativity Ladies Guild is
open to all ladies of the Parish including non-Catholic wives of registered
parishioners. The concerns of this organization are: First Communicants, Confirmed, Anointing Service, Lenten Soup Supper,
Crisis Ministry Pantry, Community-Driftwood Nursing Home, Carter May Home, Organizational--Parish Picnic, membership,
fund raising. |
The role of the Pastoral Council
is to help in identifying the needs of the parish, fulfilling those needs
and helping the parish to become a community of service.

An advisory council to the Pastor
which plans and supervises the financial affairs and physical properties
of the parish. The membership is composed of the pastor and not more than
nine practicing members of the parish who are knowledgeable of and skilled
in financial matters. Membership is by appointment of the pastor in consultation
with the Financial Council. |

The Stewardship Committee seeks
to implement a stewardship program by instilling in parishioners a spirituality
of stewardship. The focus is on time, talent, treasure, and the sharing
of these gifts.
The committee will conduct
an annual renewal program. |

The purpose of this committee
is to inform the Nativity community of the wide range of respect life issues
that exist in our complex world. It strives to accomplish this goal through
appropriate education, special projects, and keeping these life issues
in the forefront of parish prayer life. |
