Mass Intentions

Having a Mass celebrated for a person or a specific request has a long history in the Catholic Church. Requesting a Mass is not only a sign of your own faith and flourishing, but of your heart for those who say these Masses.

The offering you make when requesting a Mass will go to support the celebrants of all Masses at the Church of the Nativity each month.

After making a request, your Mass will be scheduled and celebrated.

Mass Intention requests may be made up to 3 months in advance.

You can request an intention by using the form below or using our request envelopes found in the parish entries.

Be sure to indicate if you or someone else would like to receive a Mass card, and the address to send it. Note, if it is a current parishioner, you do not need to include the address, just their name.

Offerings for Mass Intentions are commonly $10; however, they are not required, and all offerings go to support our celebrants.

If you are making an offering, you may provide that in several ways:

  • via the Mass Intention envelopes found in our entry ways
  • via the online giving tool (please indicate "Mass Intention" and for whom the Mass is intended in the note of the online offering)
  • drop off in our parish office door's mail slot
  • send by US Postal Service
  • by putting in the weekend collections basket (be sure the envelope has "Mass Intention" and for whom the Mass is intended)

If the date you have requested is not available, we will contact you via the phone or email provided on your request, to schedule your preferred date.
